LONAYA asks OBYONETAOPY: Are NANA LASYS French words?

OBYONETAOPY replies: NOPE, they are randomly created words from my pure imaginary hazard; they are not meant to mean anything except the need to give a title for my music at the moment of creating it. It's very difficult to find names for music, especially mine! LOL!

LONAYA says: Maybe they are some sort of light language then. Na-na-na-boo-boo in American English is a sing-song child’s taunt. But you won’t be teased with this selection. It delivers a unique other-worldly sensation—like being awake and asleep at the same time. Or perhaps floating in a timeless trance.

One thing I like about OBY’s music is that it is not confined to the standard three chords found in most traditional songs. He is not a formally trained musician and that appears to his advantage. I can imagine him all over the keyboards experimenting with overlapping signatures, instruments, and unpredictable rhythms. We never know where he will go next and that’s what I like about his strange music.

Or, should I call it “musique etrange”? I’ve been inspired to learn French as a result of collaborating with your kind soul.
