LONAYA says: OBY, I think you got the name wrong on this one. Sky? I’ll buy that, but only because I can see a child throwing a ball into the air and watching it fall to the ground. There, it bounces several times before being picked up and tossed up again.

Plain? There is nothing plain about this track! I felt like Lady Gaga riding on a round piece of shiny metal in a pinball machine while mixing this one. When listening to the finished track, I realized that at one point in the music I actually said, "which way, which way."

I may be bouncing, rubbing my head, and walking funny for a little while as I adjust to being back on the ground. Got any aspirin?

OBYONETAOPY replies: That's why this title and the music is fun. This track could have been called "Void Mountain" because I like to mix what music theory people would say "won't mix." So, LAB PLAIN SKY is just perfect as a title introducing music that gives your thinking a ride in a pinball machine with LADY GAGA searching for aspirin. But, there’s no need for aspirin; all you need is stop trying to grasp the ungraspable. Lonaya, you did just that! She let the ball go free and wild; she vocally bounced differently each time she touched a different stone.

The world is at least 50% too serious. We are just doing our part to help folks lighten up. Think of our style along the lines of Moody Blues, or consider that we are carrying on some nonsense inspired by the likes of Frank Zappa.
